Lesson Program

Our lesson program can be tailored to accommodate riders of all ages, levels and abilities.  Safety and lightness are emphasized at all times while building a solid foundation in good horsemanship.  We believe that there is more to horses than just riding them.  We feel it is very important for new riders to learn all the basics of caring for, grooming and tacking their own horse. 

As an orientation to our program, new students are given a 1&1/2 hour introductory lesson where they are orientated to our facility, the horse they will be riding, the tack they will be using, as well as the basics of grooming and tacking  that is necessary prior to their first ride. We take plenty of time to ensure that new students feel safe and confident with their horse, both on the ground and when riding.

We teach western, hunt seat and saddle seat riding.  We also offer lessons in pleasure driving with full sized and miniature horses as well as in hand halter and showmanship.  We encourage students to try new activities and styles of riding to advance their skills and give them a well-rounded experience with horses.

Private Lessons:  $40.00 per lesson
